Want to do a little more for PhotoSoc but can’t commit to becoming an exec? Perhaps you are into event photography, like designing posters or are into marketing and want to get some experience. No matter how much or little time you have to fill, there are numerous opportunities for you!

All year round, PhotoSoc is open to new members to its Promotions and Publicity Team!

Easy as, with very little commitment, you can do anything from simply taking photos of our events, giving out flyers, to designing posters and speaking to potential sponsors! It all depends on what YOU want to do. Because this is a team and not exec positions, you will not be solely responsible for anything!

Some of the things you might like to do include:
1. PhotoSoc event photographers: you take photos of our events (you were going anyway) for display on our website and Facebook
2. thinking of creative ways to promote an event and the society in general
3. spruiking the event in various ways
4. designing promotional material
5. postering and handing out flyers
6. selling tickets to relevant events
7. getting members enthusiastic about upcoming/current events
8. maintaining a positive image of the society to external parties such as potential sponsors
9. anything else that you think would be good to promote PhotoSoc events

We already have a team of general execs for you to work with so nothing to worry about!

*Note: As of the time of writing, there has been a proposed addition to the PhotoSoc Constitution for a Publicity and Promotions Manager who will be in charge of the Publicity and Promotions Team so if that passes, this team will be led by a skilled exec in 2011!
