Kimberley likes to observe and explore urban societies, and the weird and wonderful people that live in them. She also likes anything pretty, lush and rich, hence finding her niche in art and art photography from an early age.
In recent years however, her tendency to end up in rather unusual situations (such as being quarantined in Singapore en route to a turtle conservation project for swine flu she didn't have), together with a unique ability to acquire cameras for free has sparked a series of documentative photo essays shot mostly on film. She regularly contributes to Demotix and jpgmag.com and hopes to one day be a VII agency photographer.
Beyond photography, Kimberley plays the piano, loves languages, astronomy, marine life and clothes. She is one of those idealistic passionate types who is under the delusion this will be the generation to change the world. She still, to this date, understands very little about cameras, but is in no hurry to change that.
